who we are
Registered Massage Therapist
Nicole has been a Registered Massage Therapist since completing three years of training at Algonquin College in 2001. Her professional training includes John Barnes Myofascial Release; and all levels of TraumaPractick, a global and holistic approach to trauma and injury which include craniosacral techniques; and many other orthopaedic assessment courses. Her preferred massage treatment approaches are myofascial release, Trigger Point Therapy along with various other techniques tailored to each individual’s needs.
Nicole discovered the benefits of the myofascial release in her own recovery from the weakness, constant pain and soft tissue damage from traumatic injury. Her own recovery invigorated her professionally and inspired her to develop skills using that technique. Since 2010, she has taken numerous courses and now practices as an Expert MFR Practitioner.
In her over ten years of practice, Nicole has gained invaluable experience from ongoing professional training and applying her treatment skills to help clients recover from head traumas (whiplash, concussion, brain injury); headaches, migraines and dizziness; and tempero-mandibular joint disorders ("TMJ"/"TMD").
Nicole enjoys her work as a Registered Massage Therapist. She finds it rewarding to help provide pain relief, support recovery, and provide education toward healthy lifestyle change and body awareness.
